Is it time to grow your business? You cannot get more hours in the day, so you are going to have to add people. Adding people means moving from Business owner to Leader/Manager/Supervisor.
Stepping into a Supervisor/Manager/Leader role is not always easy. You go from doing the work, to motivating and inspiring others to do the work.
You move from looking at life on the day to day to looking out 1 to 5 years, from one role to overseeing all the roles that come together to get something done. This can be overwhelming.
The bottom line is “Managing, Supervising, and Leading” is about how you show up and deal with your team.
I’m Lisa Wilson having worked in Human Resources field for over 20 years, and the last 10 coaching leaders. I have helped many leader make the switch from doing to leading. In this course I put together the main learning I needed when I stepped into the leadership role, and the recurring themes I’ve heard from clients. I still use all these skills today and I’m excited for the opportunity to share them with you. I will take you through what you bring to the table as a manager, your role as a manager, how to communicate with those more difficult staff members, and how to share vision & values to help your team reach their goals.
And we will tackle the ever-present challenges leaders face nearly every day of “performance management” and “difficult conversations”

This course will include:
4 assignments, sent bi-weekly.
8 weekly 1-hour Zoom calls, that alternate between lessons and coaching after practicing the skills.
Online DiSC assessment (a personality assessment tool that is geared to the manager/leader role)
